There are two main purpose of the new immigration rule. Firstly, to encourage New Zealand businesses to try to hire New Zealand workers before they offer the job to you. Secondly, if they offer the job to an immigrant, they must comply with the immigration and employment laws and regulations in relation.
Therefore, the criteria to satisfy INZ requirements for work visa vary depending on the types of role and business. A work visa applicant needs to satisfy the immigration that he/she has the qualifications and/or experiences to do the job according to the job description the employer provided during the job check application.
